Inter Milan 1-1 AC Milan, first draw since 2004

The Derby number one in Italy ended up with a Draw result of 1-1 to maintain the two teams where they were in rank, Milan as the 3rd of Calcio league and Inter coming in the 4th rank.

Ezequil Scholetto’s goal was the turning point for Inter Milan to come back to the Match after AC Milan’s 1st goal by Stephano Shaarawi in the 20th min of the game.

In spite of this draw with their cross-town rivals Inter Milan, the red Devils, remain third in Serie A. It is their first draw in the fixture since 2004.

Inter now are up to fourth place, one point and one place behind AC Milan.

Eyes were on SuperMario Balotteli as an ex-inter Milan player, who really proved himself as a star in the match with three main shots on target though no goal was scored.

Samir Handanovic twice, Inter’s goal-keeper denied Mario Balotelli with a couple of superb saves.

Balotelli first rose to head Stephan El Shaarawy’s corner towards goal, but the Handanovic pulled off a superb reaction save to deny the striker.

Handanovic then produced another athletic save to frustrate Balotelli again.

On the other hand, Cassano as an ex-Milan Ac player was likewise under audience scrutiny while he was trying to pierce Rossoneri’s closed defense lines.
