Rabat- The Morocco Summit, one of the most notable economic forums in the African continent, opens today at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses Hotel in in Morocco’s capital city of Rabat.
Over the next few days, from November 19-21, the Morocco Summit will convene government officials, business leaders, and policy makers from industries such as solar & wind energy, power & desalination, tourism, agriculture, logistics, ICT, retail, automotive, offshoring & more.
The event will be marked by the presence of high ranking Moroccan government officials such as Soumia Benkhaldoun, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Moroccan Competencies; Lahcen Haddad, Minister of Tourism; Mohammed Ouzzine, Minister of Youth & Sport; and others.
Other participants include panelists from all over the world including legal experts, representatives of international banks, and international investors to explore investment opportunities through horizontal and vertical open discussion.
The Summit will offer an unprecedented opportunity to understand the dynamics, and requirements of investing or doing business in Morocco. Participants will have an outlook on how to break the legal constraints to facilitate investments in Morocco and to increase understanding of the regulatory framework in the country and its investment infrastructure, both from a legal and an academic perspective.
