Africa-Asia Summit Hails King Mohammed VI’s Efforts in Favor of Palestinian Cause
Jakarta – Heads of state and government taking part in the Africa-Asia Summit lauded, on Thursday at the end of the event taking place in Jakarta, the sustained efforts made by King Mohammed VI, chairman of Al Quds Committee, for the Palestinian cause and safeguarding the holy city’s civilizational aspect.
The Jakarta Summit’s final statement stressed efforts made at all levels by the King notably on the international scene in order to preserve the cultural identity of the holy city, symbol of peace and cultural coexistence.
The statement also underlined the King’s diplomatic action in the different international meetings to urge the international community and make it shoulder its responsibility towards the Palestinian cause.
Morocco was represented in the Summit by a delegation led by foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar.
