Moscow- The Moroccan new constitutional reforms are an important lever to ensure change over of political power between parties, a Russian specialist in international relations said on Tuesday.
Constitutional reforms undertaken by Morocco are a democratic leaning and a crucial means to involve all political actors in managing local issues, Marina Saprotova told Russian TV channel “Aujourd’hui la Russie”.
She affirmed that these reforms will give momentum to the political action in Morocco, stressing that the Moroccan political system is similar to European ones.
Saprotova recalled that these reforms fall within the framework of a democratic process adopted since the independence.
She noted that the Moroccan opposition’s demands are normal in a country that guarantees freedom of opinion, diversity of leanings and plurality of political positions.
