Geneva, September 24, 2011 (MAP)The International Democratic Center (IDC) urged, on Friday in Geneva, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and the international community to intervene to set free the families held captive in the Polisario-run camps of Tindouf (south-western Algeria).Addressing the Human Rights Council’s eighteenth session, Mami Ahl Ahmed  from the IDC called upon the UNHRC to intervene so as to enable the camps population to reunite with their relatives in their homeland Morocco and stressed the urgent need for opening the camps to international organizations so as to bring justice to the victims.
