Moroccan foreign minister Taib Fassi Fihri reiterated, on Sunday, the Kingdom’s full support for the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
That was in a meeting of the ministerial committee of the Arab peace initiative, a foreign ministry statement said, adding that Fassi Fihri insisted that “there can be no peace or stability in the Middle East region without a Palestinian state.”
The minister deplored the adverse developments hindering any resolution of the conflict, particularly the continuation of the illegitimate Israeli settlement policy.
The achievement of peace and stability in the Middle East region hinges on establishing a sovereign, viable Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with east Jerusalem as its capital, Fassi Fihri said.
