A senior-level Moroccan delegation, which included the House of Representatives Speaker Karim Ghellab, and Foreign Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani, will represent Morocco in the festivities marking the commemoration of the first anniversary of the Tunisia revolution, scheduled on Saturday in Tunis.
The delegation will represent HM King Mohammed VI in the festivities on Saturday on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Tunisian revolution, told the MAP news agency Ghellab and El Othmani who arrived Friday night in Tunis.
El Othmani said that Morocco has insisted that “the delegation representing the Kingdom in the festivities to be high-level,” which reflects “the depth and strength of relations that constantly united the two countries and brotherly peoples.”
He noted that the Moroccan will work to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields, notably at the political, economic and cultural levels.
El Othmani said the visit of the delegation will be an opportunity to meet with Tunisian officials to exchange views on various issues of common interest.
