The 32nd international tourism fair trade of Madrid (FITUR-2012) opened, on Wednesday, with the participation of official delegations, tourism professionals and exhibitors from over 160 countries, including Morocco.
The Kingdom takes part in the event with a typically-Moroccan pavilion that combines authenticity and modernity and stretches over a surface area of over 400 square meters.
The Kingdom is represented in the fair trade by an important delegation of officials and businessmen led by head of the Moroccan Tourism Office (ONMT) Abdelhamid Addou.
The Kingdom will benefit from this international event as a means to boast its assets and infrastructure mainly the Tramway linking Rabat to Salé.
The FITUR-2012’s program includes conferences and round tables, in addition to the third Tourism Investment Forum for Africa in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization and Casa Africa.
The event, which will run until January 22, attracted last year 210,000 visitors.
