Morocco takes part in the International Financial Services Forum “City week 2012” which is slated February 6-8 in London, with the participation of 40 countries.

Themed “Opportunities and Challenges in a Rapidly Changing Global Marketplace”, City Week 2012 is the global forum for senior members of the international financial services community to debate current financial issues.
The meeting offers the opportunities to boast the potentialities and assets of Morocco which seeks to turn Casablanca financial hub into a regional hub towards Africa, director general of the Casablanca stock market Karim Hajji said.
This participation is meant to shed light on the project of Casablanca Finance City (CFC) as a gateway towards North and West Africa, he added.
City Week 2012 brings together senior representatives from both the providers and users of international financial services worldwide in order to discuss the key challenges facing the industry globally. It consists of two days of cutting edge conferences, seminars and exclusive social gatherings.
Keynote speakers at City Week 2012 include Foreign Secretary William Hague as well as international speakers mainly from Morocco, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, India, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
