French national arrested in Fez for drug possession

A French national was arrested, on Wednesday at the Fez-Saiss airport, for possessing over 8 kg of chira, the city’s customs services said on Friday.

Members of customs services at the said airport seized the illegal drug, which was concealed in a suitcase, while controlling luggage for the Paris-Beauvais flight, it added.

The French was nabbed, upon the instructions by the public prosecutor’s office, by the judiciary police to complete the investigation.
