Protein, a company directed by Luca Silvestrini, addresses a host of issues inspired by daily life happenings through an in depth and ingenious analysis shaped in a distinctive creative style. The company counts five actors who make an ingenious use of the new language of emails, sms and tweets. The actors’ performance is both tense and condensed with the use of the pictorial representation of a facial expression known as « emoticons ». The duets are designed in the same fashion and the actors’ performance is characterized by the use of short and sharp sentences which mirror an internal chaos totally devoid of logic.
