The Rabat School of Governance and Economy (EGE) recently signed a convention with Palestinian an-Najah University in Naplous. An-Najah University is an institute for higher studies. It is a vibrant hub of learning, which nourishes science, knowledge and understanding. This Palestinian university is ranked among the most prestigious universities in the Middle East and counts more than 20 000 students. The University participates in the development of Palestine at different levels and provides training to Palestinian elites. Since 1997, An-Najah University has been receiving speakers in human rights and democracy from UNESCO.
The School of Governance and Economy counts currently 32 partnerships across the world, including 20 official partners in Europe and North America; The EGE envisions to expand its collaboration projects with Arab countries and to consolidate sustainable relations with Palestinian universities. This project will enable EGE students to spend an academic year in the heart of Palestine starting from the academic year 2012-2013. Similarly, the agreement with an-Najah University allows Palestinian students to spend an academic year in the EGE. The EGE’s long-term goal is to provide Palestinian students with high standard training.
The School of Governance and Economy (EGE) was founded in 2008 by the foundation for the Teaching of Political and Economic Sciences. Its research and teaching span the full breadth of politics, economics, law and personal development, in addition to language teaching. The EGE policy is to contribute to the rise of a new generation of leaders in politics and economy in the Arab world and the African and the Mediterranean region. It offers a comprehensive syllabus that fosters an in-depth knowledge in politics and economy.
