Fez – 30 students of 6th grade of primary school in Moulay Rachid-Sidi Othman delegation in Casablanca are involved in “Casablanca through the Eyes of its Children” exhibition which started in April 25 and will end in May 5.
The event takes place at the halls of the exhibition at al-Wasa’iteya Library next to Hassan II mosque.
The exhibition will display a total of 80 images which represent the city of Casablanca in its various manifestations: colors, people, weather, buildings, events and celebrations. The photographs chronicle the city in different periods and it is divided into two groups. The first one includes 50 photographs and is entitled “Casablanca: Historical Photographs”. The second includes 30 paintings and is entitled “Casablanca through Small Fingers”.
The exhibition will be an occasion to reflect on Casablanca through children’s creativity and their drawing and painting of how they perceive their own city. Their works are marked by distinguished use of various shapes and colors of Casablanca from different angles.
This exhibition, which is the first of its kind, is organized by teachers at Moulay Rachid-Sidi Othman delegation via the regional branch of the Association of the Development of School Cooperation. The event aims to encourage and support talented creative students at their schools.
