The 2012 appropriation draft bill, which barely passed its first reading through the introduction of several amendments, will be approved on Friday at the latest, Economy Minister Nizar Baraka said.
He told “Al Bayane” daily that the plenary meeting of MPs, scheduled Thursday and Friday, will be used to reach a consensus on some amendments of the said bill which was tabled for a second reading at the Lower House.
Baraka said that the government is willing to debate all the amendments submitted by the Advisors and approve those it deems “acceptable”.
Commenting on the behind schedule bill, he explained that the government has enough funds to run its departments, though he warned that the delayed bill could have an adverse effect on the business climate.
