Moroccan head of government Abdelilah Benkirane said, on Monday at the House of Representatives, that “it is impossible to implement” the Minutes of July 20, signed with the coordination of unemployed graduates, arguing that its provisions are “unconstitutional and does not comply to status of the civil service “.
“Recruitment into the civil service shall be made on the basis of meritocracy,” said Benkirane at the monthly session devoted to the public policy. To this end, he said, the executive will take steps to ensure equal opportunities in access to employment, ensuring the transparency in the announcement of job positions and that the procedure for organizing competitive entrance examination is applied.”
According to the Premier, it will be focused on methods and means to implement in order to encourage self-employment and enable young people with special needs to benefit from the quota reserved for them.
