In one of his latest statements, Saad Eddine Ottmani, the head of the National Council of the Justice and Development Party, said that the changes that Morocco has witnessed is pushing the party to further develop the tools and mechanisms the country has so far employed so as to make more and more progress.
During the opening session of the National Day of Sale, designated for preparing for the usual National Conference of the party, Ottmani confirmed that the organization is kindly invited to take into account the new legal requirements that the constitution defends and guarantees.
The requirements in question are mainly related to the political sphere and to the status of the political parties. Active participation in the party activities and citizens’ interaction with the institutions and parties have been highly appreciated.
Ottmani’s statements point out that the change of the party from the opposition to assuming the responsibility of the government, has necessitated keeping apace with the transformation. And this has led in some way or another to developing the PJD paradigm.
The head of the National Council has taken all this into consideration so as to courageously lay his plans on the table before the present audience.
Regarding the expectations and the aspirations of the Moroccan society, the Democratic Spring has spurred many parties irrespective of their agendas to engage cooperatively in the reform process. Inevitably, these remarkable transformations have marked PJD by making the latter think about developing and strengthening their paradigm and laws.
Before bringing the session to an end, Ottmani intervened to say that this year’s special session has come as an orientation towards the prioritized programs for the forthcoming year.
