The video of Abdellah Nhari, the Moroccan preacher, in which he supposedly called for the “murder” of the journalist Mukhtar Laghzioui keeps involving people from different political parties and beliefs.
One week after the “fatwa” of Nahari, the three sheikhs of Salafia Jihadia, released last February by royal pardon, recently lend their support to religious Abdellah Nahari.
Omar Haddouchi, a Moroccan Salafist sheikhs, has chosen facebook to express his support for the preacher of Oujda. On his page, he wrote “We are all in solidarity with Sheikh Nahari and against those who promote secularism and sexual freedom.”
For his part, Hassan Kettani has opted to publish a statement in which he stresses that “this drifting of lay people is unbearable.”
The two Islamists deplore the judicial inquiry with Nahari for “inciting violence” while the public media “funded by the money of Muslims” is made available to M. Laghzioui.
Kettani regarded this case as a “test for the official Ulemas and the Islamist government”, referring to the party of Benkirane (PJD).
He concluded his statement by showing an unequivocal support to Nahari.
Abdelouaheb Rifki, famous for Alias Abu Hafs, like Haddouchi, has also resorted to Facebook to announce his solidarity with the preacher of Oujda.
Unlike the three Salafists, Mohamed Fizazi, who was granted a royal pardon on April 2011, also very famous for his radical religious beliefs, has not yet expressed his opinion on this controversy.
