The Polisario, which has always been “a puppet in the hands of Algeria, has become a commercial firm at Mohamed Abdelaziz’s command,” the Canary daily “El Dia” said.
In an article published Saturday in his column “Criterios” entitled “Disintegration of the Polisario,” the journalist Ramon Moreno said that the “unexpected” resignation of cooperation minister of the so-called SADR, Hajd Ahmed, adds to the voice of young democratic Saharwi opponents who accuse the leaders of the Polisario of “blocking negotiations on the future of the Sahara and serving the political agenda of Algeria in the region.”
The article cited the case of singer Najem Allal who was brutally dislodged, with his companions, from the tent they had erected in Rabouni in protest.
This is because the singer criticized, through his songs, the leaders of the Polisario, the journalist said.
