Morocco and France are willing to further promote their strategic partnership at the bilateral and multilateral levels, Minister Delegate to the Foreign Minister Youssef Amrani said on Monday in Paris.
In a statement to MAP following talks with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Minister Delegate for European Affairs, the Moroccan official expressed satisfaction regarding bilateral ties noting the joint willingness to further promote them within the framework of the strategic partnership.
The talks dealt with the upcoming High level meeting, due next December in Rabat which will examine prospects for developing bilateral relations at all levels, said the Moroccan official.
The close ties between Morocco and France build on shared values and interests as well as a convergence of views concerning regional and international issues, Amrani said.
He added that the two countries decided to reinforce cooperation within the Security Council regarding the issues of Syria and Mali.
