Spanish state secretary for foreign affairs Gonzalo De Benito reiterated the Spanish government’s esteem for HM King Mohammed VI who expressed, in the Throne speech, Morocco’s solidarity with Spain in this difficult economic juncture and its commitment to encouraging the emergence of new economic conditions propitious for wealth creation to give concrete substance to the deep bonds between the two countries.
In a joint statement following a meeting, Monday in Rabat, with minister delegate for foreign affairs Youssef Amrani, Spanish state secretary for foreign affairs Gonzalo De Benito hailed the major accomplishments achieved by Morocco to uphold democracy according to a vision that unites democratic achievement, economic openness and human development.
Morocco and Spain will hold on October 3 in Rabat a high-level meeting on strengthening strategic partnership between the two countries.
