The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) strongly condemned movie ridiculing Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with the gimmick of anti-Muslim Egyptian Christian campaigners and Quran-burning Pastor Terry Jones in the United States.
ISESCO today in its communiqué denounced the movie, co-scripted and directed by Israeli Jewish Sam Bacile, as being grievously heinous. The movie, deliberately maligning the Holy Prophet, Islam and Muslims, is proof that hatred and blind extremism are running deep in the hearts of its producers, ISESCO stressed.
ISESCO went on to urge US authorities to put a ban on the movie, with its promoters held to account, as being against American law, an incitement to hateful violence against Muslims in the USA and around the world, and a serious threat to world peace and security.
ISESCO also called on the UN, UNESCO, human right organizations, intellectuals and fair-minded journalists in the world, to reject the movie as a punishable offence.
In addition, ISESCO invited the Member States to guard and defend against abominable plots to defame the Holy Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him.
