Malian Prime Minister, Cheikh Modibo Diarra, said, Tuesday in the UN headquarters in New York, that his country seeks Morocco’s support for the implementation of a strategy to end the crisis in his country.
Cheikh Modibo Diarra told the press after his meeting with Prince Moulay Rachid that he had briefed the Prince on “the strategy adopted by Mali” for a way out of the crisis and “requested the Kingdom’s support for the implementation of this strategy, including within the UN Security Council.”
The meeting between the Prince and the Malian official was attended by Taib Fassi Fihri, advisor to the King, Saad Dine El Otmani, foreign minister, and Mohamed Loulichki, Morocco’s permanent representative to the UN.
Prince Moulay Rachid is representing HM King Mohammed VI in the Assembly’s 67th session.
