Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday said that a “clear red line” must be set for Iran’s nuclear drive.
Addressing the 67th session of the U.N. General Assembly, Netanyahu said that the only means to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon is to stop it from enriching uranium.
He said that by next summer, Iran will be on brink of having enough enriched uranium for a nuclear bomb.
Netanyahu, meanwhile, accused Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of slandering his country.
“We won’t solve our conflict with libelous speeches at the U.N. We won’t solve our conflict with unilateral declarations of statehood,” Netanyahu declared, shortly after Abbas condemned Jewish settlement building as “racist.”
