Taroudant- Oct 26, 2012
Judicial police, in Oulad Tayma, referred to the Public Prosecution in Taroudant a herbalist accused of selling herbs, pharmaceutical products and practicing illegally a profession regulated by law.
The security forces arrested the herbalist in his shop with home made cosmetics and sex stimulating combinations made of herbs, Indian-made pharmaceutical pills and some drugs used for fattening calves.
According to trusted sources the Pharmacists Association has self-proclaimed civil party in this case.
The herbalist was selling the prescription for women who want to achieve fuller figures and fleshy bodies.
The prescription is a mixture of herbs and generic medical drugs known among Moroccan women as “Derdeg” which are pills sold secretly in cosmetic shops, herbalists and spices shops.
The pills known in Morocco as “Derdeg” come from Spain through smuggling, originally used for fattening cows, and not intended for human use.
