During an interview, famous American thinker and linguist, Noam Chomsky, pointed out that America is worried about the fact that ‘ the Arab Spring’ countries are slowly but surely moving towards democracy, particularly that for America to grow as a world power, it must predominate the rest of the world.
During his lecture in Cairo, Egypt, Chomsky drew people’s attention to America’s disgruntlement about what is going on in the Arab world, adding that the Middle East’s move towards state independence is doing America a ‘disservice’.
Noted for castigating the Israeli occupation and American foreign affairs, Chomsky has dug up some of the US’s cunning policies, such as the fact that America does not want ‘the Arab Spring countries’ politics to be the exact image of the Arab masses.
Additionally, Chomsky explained that America’s dominance over the Middle East is still prevalent, and whatever country does not comply with the private policy of American ‘democracy’ is in jeopardy.
During a visit to Gaza, Chomsky evinced his willingness to do away with Israeli engulfment if Palestine. In the same vein, he expounded that Israel and America’s cruel treatment of Palestinians gives “us the impression that the democracy these two powerful countries pretend to staunchly support is a false one.”
Originally Jewish and author of 100 books on linguistics and politics, Chomsky has been famous for telling the plain truth and for being a life-long proponent of humanity regardless of what his stances may cost him.
