Three workers carrying out repairs on a lift at a luxury hotel in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, were killed when the lift fell, a source at the hotel said on Monday.
The accident took place on Sunday afternoon when the lift cables broke, said the source, adding that three workers were conducting repairs on behalf of a “maintenance company.”
A judicial inquiry has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
