Bad news come back to back for Benkirane’s government. Two of the strategic departments have announced the postponement of two major events that were advertised as the consecration of the current government’s work of the past 8 months.
Indeed, both conferences on Industry and Tourism which were to take place respectively on November 26 and December 4, have been postponed indefinitely.
While the agencies in charge of the organization had already been selected a long time ago, the decision to postpone came from very high up in the hierarchy, directing the two ministers in charge of the conferences, Abdelkader Amara and Lahcen Haddad, to temporarily suspend the preparatory work.
According to well-informed sources, the royal cabinet is dissatisfied with the slow progress of both events. No other date has apparently been selected for these two conferences yet, which makes it look like both events could have simply been cancelled.
