Moroccan minister delegate for foreign affairs, Youssef Amrani, who represents King Mohammed VI in the inauguration of president-elect of the United Mexican States, Enrique Pena Nieto, conveyed a message from the King to the new president.
The Sovereign expressed to Mr. Enrique Pena Nieto his congratulations on his election and his best wishes for success in the important task entrusted to him by the Mexican people.
On this occasion, Mr Amrani had meetings with several Mexican officials on the current state of bilateral relations as well as on various issues of common interest and several multilateral issues and international affairs.
The visit of the Moroccan official to Mexico, which coincides with the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, was an opportunity for the two countries to examine means to give new impetus to bilateral ties.
