The Dubai-based Middle Broadcasting Center (MBC) is to announce the name of the winner of the Arabic version (Ahla Sawt) of the singing competition television show “The Voice”.
At the moment, four final candidates including two Moroccans Murad Briqui from Assi’s team and Farid Ghennam from Shirine’s team are performing on the stage of the TV show “the Voice” before their coaches and a large audience, counting down minutes before the coaches unveil “the voice” of this season, later on Friday.
The winner of this season will hold the name of the best Arab voice and will have several privileges, including a Chevrolet Malibu 2013, and an offer to record a professional album by Nadir Khayat, professionally known as RedOne, the renowned Moroccan producer, songwriter and music executive.
The two Moroccans, Murad Briqui and Farid Ghennam, were able to make it to the final stage of the contest by their distinguished voice and professional performances throughout the competition.
Through the competition stages, Farid entertained the audience with Rai songs, namely those oldies of Cheb Khaled, with great distinction. He proved the words of his coach, Shirine, who said that “he deserves to be a global, not just an Arab artist”.
The winner of the “The Voice”, regardless of his/ her talent, will be decided by worldwide voting and the candidate who obtains most of the votes is to be nominated the winner of the contest.
Yesterday, the Moroccan TV showed both the families of the two singers who represent Morocco in this Arab Show wishing good luck and urging Moroccans and Arabs to vote for their sons whom they think deserve the title.
The competition is coached by top Arab singers: Shirine Abdelwahab, Kazim El Saher, Assi El Hilani, and Saber El Roba’i.
The contest consists of 3 stages: blind auditions, battle rounds and live performances.
