Some 11 kg of cannabis resin seized north

Some 11 kg of Chira (cannabis resin) were seized on Tuesday at the border crossing of Bab Sebta, said on Wednesday the customs services.

The drugs, found during a joint operation by the customs services and the police, were hidden in the form of tablets in the back seat of a Mercedes registered in Spain, driven by a Moroccan living in Spain, the same source said.
The defendant was questioned by the police of the city of Tetouan for further investigation
