Rabat, December 28, 2012 (MAP)Communication minister, government spokesperson Mustapha El Khalfi described, on Thursday, as positive and honorable the results of government action in 2012, which shows the "executive's will to implement the main reform projects."Even though the government's ambitions go beyond what has been achieved up till now, we should admit that these achievements are important, promising and structuring", he said at a press briefing following the weekly cabinet meeting.He gave the example of the rehabilitation of civil service and the administration-citizen relation, recalling that measures have been taken including the principle of equal opportunities (competitive entry examination), access to positions of responsibility through candidacy, and establishment of a system enabling citizens to express their grievances to the justice department.He also talked about the implementation of the responsibility-accountability principle, the prohibition of practicing two jobs in the public and private sectors and the rationalization of public expenses which enabled to save 5 billion dirhams.
