The operation for Moroccans living abroad, called Marhaba (welcome) will start on June 15, under the presidency of HM King Mohammed VI, said a press release of Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, which contributes in the implementation and the organization of this operation, has installed 17 reception areas to respond to the intensity of maritime and air traffic regularly recorded on this occasion, the statement said.
It is, said the same source, the rest areas of Tangiers Mediterranean, Taourirte, Tazaghine and Ras el Ma, and the ports of Tangier Med, Nador and Al Hoceima, the entries of Bab Ceuta and Melilia and the airports of Casablanca, Oujda Angad, Agadir Al Massira and Fez Sais.
Abroad, the Foundation will provide assistance to members of the Moroccan Community traveling via the European ports of Almeria, Algeciras, Sete and Genoa.
In the 17 areas set up by the Foundation more than400 social workers, doctors, pharmacists and volunteers cater to the needs of the Moroccan community abroad through the Foundation’s sites and equipped rest areas to guarantee satisfactory transit conditions for our fellow citizens living abroad and provide them with the assistance they need.
Assistance operations are coordinated by a head office hosting a call center, working 24/7 that can be reached at the following numbers: 05 37 20 55 66 / 05 37 20 66 66 or by calling the hotline 08000 23 23 in Morocco.
In addition to the above, Moroccans living abroad can contact the Call Center from the sites abroad in Spain (Almeria 00 34 631 256 621 / 00 34 631 039 822 and Algeciras00 34 631 256 777 / 00 34 631 256 381), France (Sète 00 33 634 681 741) and Italy (Genoa 00 39 320 303 80 57) .
