Saudi Arabia has expelled thousands of Yemeni workers in an attempt to tackle its own employment crisis. Officials confirm that thousands of Yemeni expatriates have been deported after a controversial change in the Saudilabour law, designed to curb the overwhelming number of foreign workers flooding the country. Yemen is the poorest country in the Arab world, and depends on remittances from its migrant workers. Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Adow reports from the town of Harad on the Yemeni-Saudi border.
