The Egyptian government is considering a decision to dissolve the Muslim Brotherhood, a cabinet spokesman said Saturday.
Prime Minister Hazem al-Beblawi has proposed to Social Solidarity Minister Ahmed al-Borie to issue a decision dissolving the group, spokesman Sherif Shawqi told a press conference.
“This proposal is being studied by the government,” the spokesman added. He said that reconciliation is still possible “for those whose hands are not stained with blood”, declining to elaborate.
