PARIS – Preparations completed for a possible military intervention in Syria: French defense minister
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said Thursday that France together with its allies were getting ready to respond to the Syrian regime.
The response should be well-thought, determined, and well proportioned, said Fabius in a statement.
Meanwhile, French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said they completed the preparations for a possible military intervention in Syria by command of President Francois Hollande.
A huge ship as well as a frigate called “Chevalier Paul” equipped with anti ballistic missiles and modern missiles sailed for Syria, said French media.
