Rabat- Adnane Bennis, co-founder of Morocco World News signed an official partnership with the Student Affairs Committee of the Higher Institute of Media and Communications on Tuesday in Rabat.
Under the new partnership MWN has asserted its commitment to work with students enrolled in journalism, communications, and media programs at the Institut Superieur de l’Information et de la Communication [ISIC] and provide them with the resources, expert training, and mentorship needed to hone their skills in the field.
The meeting was also an opportunity for MWN to share its experience as a developing news outlet and explain its editorial policy and mission.
The meeting was a prime occasion to discuss the future of electronic media in Morocco and how to engage young journalists and freelancers to engage in international and local affairs.
A number of young journalists expressed their enthusiasm to be involved with MWN in its mission to equip Morocco with a professional and acclaimed English-language news outlet.
