New York  -  Morocco announced on Monday its candidacy to a seat at the United Nations Human Council for the 2014-2016 period. "Morocco wishes to obtain your support for its candidacy to the human rights council, for the 2014-2016 period, in order to better contribute to consolidate the council's role and guarantee the needed efficiency to its functioning", said minister fore foreign affairs and cooperation Saad Eddine El Otmani, during the general debate of the UN general assembly's 8th session.
