RABAT - Ms. Charafat Afilal, who was appointed Thursday Minister Delegate to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment in charge of water, was born in 1972 in Tetouan.
RABAT – Ms. Charafat Afilal, who was appointed Thursday Minister Delegate to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment in charge of water, was born in 1972 in Tetouan.
Ms. Charafat Afilal joined the youth section of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) at a young age, before becoming a member of its Political Bureau in 2000.
Laureate of Mohammedia School of Engineering (class 1997), she was elected in 2011 member of the Democratic Progress Group and the 8th Vice President of the House of Representatives.
An engineer of l’Office National de l’Eau Potable (ONEP), Ms. Afilal was elected member of the National Office of the Socialist Youth from 1994 to 1999, and served in the unit responsible for environmental monitoring at the National Centre for Energy, Science and of Nuclear Techniques (CNESTEN).
