Attending to the Commerce Department Select USA 2013 Investment Summit, Obama said that there were a whole lot of reasons international companies ought to come to USA, and he added, “We have cleared away the rubble from the financial crisis, and over the past three and a half years, our businesses have created more than 7.5 million new jobs.”
Stressing America’s becoming more competitive from a business standpoint, Obama said that they were reforming a broken health care system, and as a consequence, health care costs were rising at their slowest rate in 50 years.
“We have cut our deficits by more than half since I took office, and they keep going down,” said Obama.
Obama stressed that they have got to continue to make smart investments in research and development, education, infrastructure.
Obama emphasized, America is the most attractive place on the planet for businesses to invest.
Pointing to the business leaders in the summit, and around the world, Obama said, “We want to be your partner in helping to write the next chapter in our history. We want you to join the generations of immigrants and entrepreneurs and foreign investors who’ve discovered exactly what it means when we say we are the land of opportunity. That is not a myth. It’s a proven fact.”
