Tennis player Lamine Wahhab, became Moroccan by virtue of a Royal Decree issued on November 7, and published on the Official Gazette.
According to the site Le360, the player had already applied years ago for the Moroccan citizenship in order to represent Morocco in a number of international events.
The 28-year old is ranked 243 in the world ATP ranking.
