Tunis - Tunisia
Tunis – Tunisia
It feels like an eternity since you drew those curtains down.
Look around you, child.
Your sun has set down and your stars have ceased to shine.
Your flames have laid frozen on your dirty ground.
Look around you.
Burning scars are all what remain from a life you have left behind.
You have grown cold, yet you were once alive.
Unleash those memories entombed for so long.
May they be lost but not forgotten.
May you remember, child, that you have once rose above.
Lay your burden down as you crawl back to the time when all begun.
Remember your glories and victories still stained with innocent blood.
Unburied fathers and sons left behind to crows and mud.
Those are the times when you felt replete and alive.
Those are the times when you felt proud and satisfied.
May your greed deliver you peace of mind once you reach your final ground.
Now, it is time.
You have feasted enough my child.
Lower your flags and let the most beautiful funeral be born.
Let blacksmiths prepare you the most striking armor ever worn.
Have no fear, child.
Dazed crowds will shiver as they present your body.
With vervains Lustrous nymphs will dance forevermore above your remains.
Come with me, child.
Let an old harvester do his duty as he prays for your salvation.
Let Cerberus welcome you as you await for your condemnation.
Come to me, child.
Into the abyss you will fall and hope shall be reborn.
Slaves and maids shall feel free once they hear your last sigh.
Come my child.
Shrivel under my wings as I murmur you this one last lullaby.
