Rabat – During his second day in Buenos Aires, Usain Bolt, the Jamaican world record holder in 100 and 200 meters, easily won a race against a bus in a free exhibition held on the famous 9 de Julio Avenue, downtown Buenos Aires, according to Spanish sport newspaper Marca.
In a promoted race held opposite the famous Teatro Colón, the athlete who holds six Olympic gold medals and eight world championships, attracted more than 30,000 people. In his challenge to overcome the 59 bus, the Jamaican showed all his magnetism and freshness to run 80 meters in a light trot that was enough to keep the duel.
After this presentation, Usain Bolt won a 120 meters race against his countrymen Mario Forsythe, Kimmari Roach, and Daniel Bailey of Antigua and Barbuda.
“What I like is running in front the crowds and although it costs because it is done in less than optimal conditions, it is a great morale boost,” was the final sentence of the world’s fastest man who appeared on a warm day in the capital Buenos Aires.
The 27-year old athlete said that his next challenges will be Olympic titles in the Rio 2016 Olympics and to achieve a new world title in the 100 meters.
