Rabat- The Emir of the State of Qatar is set to visit Morocco on December 27-28 at the invitation of King Mohammed VI. The official visit will be crowned with the signing of a number of bilateral agreements between the two countries.
At the invitation of Mohammed VI, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, will pay an official visit to Morocco on 27 and 28 December, a statement from the Ministry of Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery, said Tuesday.
“The Ministry of Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced that the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI , may God assist him, His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 Safar El- Kheir 1435 AH, corresponding to 27 and 28 December 2013,” said the statement.
“On this occasion, His Majesty the King, may God assist him, will hold official talks with His illustrious host and chair with His Highness , the Emir of Qatar, a signing ceremony of several bilateral agreements.”
“His Majesty the King, may God assist him, will offer an official dinner, at the Royal Palace of Marrakech, in honor of His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, and the delegation accompanying him,” the statement added.
