Rabat – Head of the Moroccan-Belgian friendship group, Hussein Hafazov, met here with speakers of the House of Representatives (lower chamber) and of the Chamber of Advisors (upper), Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah.
The visit is part of preparations for an upcoming visit to Morocco of Speaker of the Bulgarian national assembly. Discussions covered means to consolidate the friendship and cooperation ties existing between the two countries and the Moroccan Sahara issue, as well as democratic reforms adopted by Morocco.
The head of the Bulgarian MP delegation said his country support a political negotiated settlement to the Sahara issue on the basis of the UN Security Council resolutions.
