Technological innovation as a factor enhancing governance of cities and interaction between citizens, heads of enterprises and public institutions will be debated by this conference.
Participants will come out with proposals of solutions that are adapted to the geopolitical context in North Africa and bring a contribution to social and economic development in the region.
According to the World Bank, 50pc of African population will be living in urban areas in the coming 30 years.
Managers of cities, governmental officials, academics, urban architects, suppliers of urban services will meet to exchange experience, establish networks, and share best practices to build smart cities.
