Paris – A conference themed “Morocco, African hub for sustainable development” will be held next Tuesday in Paris at the initiative of the Moroccan-French chamber of trade and industry.
Initiated with the support of the Embassy of Morocco in France, this meeting will provide an opportunity to focus on the geostrategic and geo-economic vision of King Mohammed VI, which is future-oriented and aimed at strengthening the economic position of Morocco in Africa.
“Morocco is now the largest investor in West Africa and the second across the Continent, with a share of up to 90 pc of its total foreign investment,” the organizers said.
They added that “through the acquisition of holdings or the creation of subsidiaries of companies, this position is taking concrete substance each day by the diversification of sectors, including construction, water, mining, transportation, banking and telecommunications.”
