Geneva – Jamal Belahrach, President of the Employment and Social Relations Committee of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM), was elected a trustee of the International Labor Office (ILO) on the occasion of the 103rd International Labour Conference held in Geneva.
This is a first for the CGEM which will be well represented in the executive body of the International Labour Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations which is characterized by a unique tripartite structure of governments, employers and workers.
The ILO is the only international organization where, on an equal footing, the three groups meet to discuss working conditions worldwide.
