Tetouan – Morocco and Britain can work together and contribute to the development of Africa, said Tuesday in Tetouan, Fiona Woolf, Lord Mayor of the City of London.
“We can work together by joining our international expertise to Morocco’s knowledge of Francophone Africa. Together we can contribute to the development of the continent. This is the century of Africa, and this is there it is going to happen,” said Fiona Woolf in a statement to the press following a meeting with King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace of Tetouan.
“It is an honor of the Lord Mayor of London to be received by His Majesty the King. He was very warm and welcoming,” said Woolf.
“We had a very interesting conversation about what we can do in partnership together on so many different fronts. We talked particularly about our shared vision for the development of Casablanca as a financial center capable of financing not just Morocco but also the region,” she added.
