Casablanca – The Mohammed V airport police arrested on Tuesday night a Congolese national with 5kg of crack cocaine.
The Congolese passenger was coming from the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo and bound for Kinshasa.
A police officer told MAP that this is the first time that the police seizes this type of cocaine which undergoes “chemical modifications” which helps to extract four times its weight and increase its effect.
He added that the banned substance was hidden in the bottom of two large suitcases.
