Fez- Egypt’s prominent Actor, Said Saleh died on Friday, at the age of 76, after battling Alzheimer for many years.
Almissri Alyaoum reported that Said Saleh fell into a coma Thursday night, before he zas transported to the Armed Forces Hospital in Cairo, where he died the following day.
According to the same source, Saleh’s family has not yet announced the day of the funeral ceremony.
Saleh was one of he most popular comedian figures in Egypt and in the Arab World along with Adel Imam. He made his mark in several comedy plays, such as the two successful comedy plays Madrasset Al Moshaghibin, or The School of Rioters, and El Eyal Kebret, or The Kids have Grown-up.
Saleh took part in 500 movies and 300 plays. He began his career as actor in 1960, after he graduated with a BA.
